Is Pest Control safe? What if I am pregant, or have a young child or baby?
Yes. When we use pesticides or baits we use formulations with the lowest toxicity available and apply these products where pests breed and live.
Where do you treat for pests?
This will depend on which pest is being targeted. We focus our treatments on the places that pests live and breed even where you can’t see them. Depending on the type of pest, these areas can include roof voids, sub floors, full external treatments around your home including garages, sheds and pergolas and inside your home (skirtings, cornices, window and door frames).
How often should I have my house done?
We recommend that you have your Cockroach, Silverfish and Spider treatment carried out every 12 months. This ensures that you don’t give pests a chance to breed up.
Are white ants the same as termites?
No. Ants are no relation to termites and in fact, there is no such thing as a white ant. Termites have been incorrectly termed as white ants purely by the colour of their bodies and that they are similar in appearance to an ant.
If I have termites in my yard will they eat my house?
It is possible for termites to travel 100 metres or more to access a food source such as your home. It is therefore a necessity to have a termite inspection carried out to your home if you discover termites in your yard, followed by a preventative program.
My neighbour has had termites treated in their house, will they travel to my house?
Yes, it is possible that if your neighbour has had a termite treatment carried out the termites can be moved on to your home.
Are non toxic termite treatments effective?
Most definitely. We regard them to be the leaders in termite control technology.
